I'll quote LUND:

quote:
AEM Tru Timing Gears - Results:
My 0 degree run had 191 hp, still a bit lower than it should be. But after the gears were tuned it went to 200, a gain of nearly 10 hp. But the nice thing is I picked up 4 ft lbs or so of torque all across the powerband, NOT just on top. This is why it feels much stronger all over. For the price, a good investment. My final settings were +3.5 or so intake, -2 exhaust

Here is his dyno sheet:

The thing that gets me is that the ones with the cam gears are the ones with less than normal hp and torque. Then when they "tuned"them they get closer to the normal hp and torque levels.
I still say cam gears are a waste of money. I am still waiting for someone to have good hp and torque try cam gears and get decent results.

That dyno is very old. I my cam gear settings have also changed. I've also confirmed that my rpm gauge is off, as the V-AFC has confirmed, so if I had put another 300 rpm on that dyno run, it would have gone to 205 or so, which is about right for some cars with 6psi.
Now SSBP is right though, I should have been there to begin with, without the gears, but I think they can help, but it may or may not be this much.
Others have had similar results.

Can you guys give me a phone number and an address for Dynospot because Skunkworks is booked up solid for two weeks before the next available dyno session. I think Skunkworks is heavily developing their 10s NA teg, thus no dyno time available. Thanks.
